Adhd
There are three types of ADHD presentations:
(1) predominantly inattentive; which means, essentially, your core characteristic, pertinent behaviour is that you can’t concentrate, that you get easily distracted and you can’t persist or sustain your focus on a task. That’s predominantly inattentive.
Then, there’s
(2) a predominantly hyperactive/impulsive presentation; which is that you are fidgety, always on the go and acting really before thinking. But, also, although not within the current set of symptoms, the idea of disliking having to wait for certain outcomes is very closely related. So, that inability to delay gratification is very closely related to that presentation.
And, finally,
(3) is a combined type; which features both inattentive and hyperactive/impulsive behaviours.
